Generational differences and differing workplace ideals are inevitable, and it is important that we embrace these differences to create positive change. Employees simply want to feel valued for what they can add to an organization as an individual. While each generation has different norms when it comes to doing business, we all have unique skill sets, personalities and work habits that we bring to the table and make us stand out.
During this workshop, we will take a look at the commonalities and differences between current generations in the workplace, to understand what motivates, drives, and engages each generation and how we each can adapt to leverage those differences. Employees should not conform to one way of thinking instead they should embrace different working and learning styles. Unique perspectives and ideas are a benefit to a workplace. Each employee has a unique way of doing things, which creates multiple paths to getting the job done, which should be respected – not changed.
The workshop will be hosted online from 1:30 to 3:30 MST, and attendees will receive a link to the Zoom conference the day before the workshop.
